The Music Group comprises various combinations of 2 Guitarists, Flautist, Clarinet, Cornet/Recorder, Piano Accordionist, Folk Harpist, 5 Adult singers, two children and an Animator, and we regularly sing the Gloria, Psalm, Gospel Acclamation, Eucharistic Acclamations and Great Amen, Hymns and other parts of the Mass from time to time. Our repertoire covers most of the traditional Folk Repertoire plus Music for the Mass I, Acclaim the King, and St. Thomas More Group and OCP for Psalms, service music and pieces sung by the music group. We find Paul Inwood, Stephen Dean and Chris O’Hara (Acclaim the King) particularly rich sources for the Psalms and Chris Walker and Bernadette Farrell for Acclamations and Meditative pieces.
